DIRECTIONS:

If you are in the village of Enniskerry, you leave the village going towards Kilternan on the R117. This brings you up a hill where you come to a Texaco garage at the top. Continue on this road towards Kilternan. Continue for 1.5 km/ 60 seconds and you will have a white signpost on your right hand side ”Killegar Stables” pointing to a sharp left hand turn up a hill. You are now on Killegar Hill. The yard is located about 1km up here on the right hand side and cannot be missed as there is a big sign on the side of the building saying ”Killegar Stables”.

FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT

Leave the airport and proceed northwest. Take a slight left and continue onto Swords Rd. At Airport Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto M1 heading to Dublin. At the following roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the M1 ramp to M50. Merge onto M1. At junction 1, exit onto M50 toward N2/N3/N4/N7/N11/N81 Partial toll road. At junction 15, exit toward Kilternan. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit toward M50/Kiltiernan, Go through 2 roundabouts. Continue straight onto Glenamuck Rd. Turn left onto Enniskerry Rd. Take the 1st right to stay on Enniskerry Rd. Continue onto Ballybetagh Rd. Turn left to stay on Ballybetagh Rd. Turn left onto Killegar Rd Killegar Stables will be on the left.

FROM DUBLIN

If you are coming from Dublin, you can take the N11 and take the Brennenstown turnoff. Come back over the bridge and head back towards town on the N11. Take the first left hand turn to Enniskerry village. When you get to the village take a right hand turn going up the hill. Pass the Texaco garage heading towards Kilternan. There will be a sharp left hand turn after half a mile with a signpost on the right for Killegar Stables. The yard is 1km on this road on the right hand side. BY BUS We are 50 minutes by bus no.44 from the city center. This bus leaves from the center of town at the screen cinema – Toownsend Street- twice an hour going to enniskerry village. Or you can get a taxi to us which would take about 35 mins from city center. When travelling form Town to Enniskerry you get off at stop ’4753 Killegar House’ and you can then take the short walk up Killegar road to the yard which is on your right hand side and can not be missed.
